Alligators in the Florida Everglades

Do you know the difference between an alligator and a crocodile? Here are two ways to tell them apart:

• Alligators have a U-shaped snout, while Crocodiles have a more slender, V-shaped snout.
• When an alligator closes it's mouth, you only see the top teeth. A Croc, on the other hand, flashes both upper and lower teeth when it's mouth is closed
